2 days ago, on August 4th, my friend TJ and I went to St. Mary's Glacier to do some snowboarding. It would be my 2nd time there and I did much better hiking. The first time, I went like seriously 3 days after I moved to Breck so I was still getting used to the high altitude... apparently going from living at 7,000ft to 9.000ft makes a huge difference... and St. Mary's is at 10,000ft, with the snow being above 11,000ft. Yeah. Anyways, TJ had to go pee and while he tried to find a spot, he found some benches and a PVC pipe that were hidden away... obviously they were for jibbing! He grabbed the pipe and we hiked up to the snow. I had this genius idea of setting the pipe up on a rock so it would be kinda like an up-rail and I set a big rock on the bottom to keep weight on it and TJ put snow over it... it worked awesome and it was super fun!! It kinda felt like a seesaw, lol, it'd bend down a little bit at the end but the pipe never fell down and I weigh 125-130lbs.

And here's the pipe in action:

SUCCESS!!!!!!!!! I love ghetto set ups, I'm from the midwest so of course ghetto setups are my friends!! Hahaha. Oh yeah, I forgot gloves that day. D'oh.
We also built a small kicker and we just messed around all day... here's a blurry pic of me doing a "fashion air"... baller...

We just did old school grabs and some sweet grabs like Japan air and truck drivers... beep beep!! It was a really fun day, despite it raining a few times... we ran to a small cave every time it rained, ha ha ha. Probably rained 3 times but it was worth it. The clouds looked so menacing though!!

We heard some thunder but saw no lightning and for the most part, the storms blew over quickly. We're going again this weekend and this time, we're going to bring one of the benches TJ found up so we can have a "box" to play around on :D
