BUTTER IT!
Woooo, definitely butterable. I don't know if they made the Ollie Pop softer, or if it's because I got a smaller size this year, but it does seem softer. I had a 145 last year, now I'm rocking the 141. Personally I like that size a lot better!
SWITCH IT UP!
Board rode the same switch as it did regular
POP IT!
Wooooo poppy! This year, the Ollie Pop will have C2.... exciting stuff!! It still has BTX (Banana Magnetraction), and then there will be camber outside the banana. The C2 is supposed to help provide more stability and pop for when you get aggressive with it.
BOMB IT!
I can definitely notice the C2 helping keep the board stable when I bomb it, this thing hardly chatters. I don't get sketched out going fast anymore, and I did really good at the Mervin Day's 'The Game' where I had to race like 100 other people from the very top of A-Basin, hit the 3 jumps in the park on the way down, and get to the tent at the beach. I basically straightlined the mountain and I didn't feel scared once, the board felt great. I think I was like, the 10th, 15th, person down maybe?! Too bad the shotgunning the beer then running up the hill part kicked my ass. Ha.
SPIN TO WIN!
The board is pretty light and I had no problems spinning on this thing, I loved spinning with it both off jumps and on rails.
ARTSY-FARTSY!
The graphics are SO COOL!!!! Dare I say, I like it way better than last year's?! The only issue is that the "ROXY" on the bottom seems to be more for girls who ride goofy. I am regular, and when I go to do a method, the "ROXY" is upside-down. No big deal, but it probably will be an issue if you want to take a great photograph and everything has to be just right.
AND THE BINDINGS?
OH man, oh man, thank you Joel! I love my new Rome Madison... they're super comfortable and quite the upgrade from my first-year Rome Madison. The ankle straps are cushy and adjusting them is a breeze. They seem really solid, but the only issue I have with them is sometimes when I go to take the bindings off, the straps won't come off all the way in one swoop motion. The ratchet gets stuck right at the tip of the ladder, and I either have to keep trying, trying, trying to get that damn thing off. It seems to be the toe straps mainly, but the ankles do it sometimes. It's definitely a lot easier to take off than the toe straps though. What I do is, once I get the toe straps loose, I push it off my toes. Kind of like Salomon bindings. Definitely saves time instead of trying to yank and pull to get the straps to come open. It's an easy fix though- either cut the tip of the ladders with scissors, or just get different ladders from other bindings. My bindings are samples though- so hopefully they correct the problem before they release them.
THE VERDICT?!
I am impressed with how the Ollie Pop rides... it's still a great board that I can trust to take me all over the mountain and slay the park. No need to switch up snowboards for different conditions, but maybe for deep powder because my board is only a 141!

Hey love your blog! Just wondered how tall/heavy you are? Im trying to decide between the 141 and 145 Gny B Street or Roxy Ollie Pop...Which do you think is better for more all mountain with a bit of freestyle fun? Cheers
Hey! I am 5'2" and 115-120 lbs. Both boards are very, very similar but I don't think the b street has C2. I'm looking at this catalog for next years b street and it doesn't say anywhere if it has c2. The b pro does however. I don't think you can go wrong with either board, but I might go for the Ollie pop since the c2 really does help with stability and all-mountain slaying!
