Beaver Creek

Oh boy... Beaver Creek. Is it just me or are most of the people there either assholes or retards?

So first run down, it was grand, found some powder through trees right by the runs. People there don't like powder for some reason. I usually go to BC on powder days, and it's usually empty and most people stay on the groomed runs... suckers!

My boyfriend and I stood in line to get on the lift when this skier who I will call Old Man River; he came up and shoved me with his shoulder and cut in front of me. WTF? I'm guessing he probably said "Excuse me" but I didn't hear him, so he goes the asshole route and shoved me. Then a lady follows Old Man River, wtf. At least there were now 4 skiiers in front of me (chairlift holds 4 people), so it wasn't like we were pushed back an extra spot in line or anything. These 4 people proceeded to fuck around in the line, stepping back and forth and around each other, stepping on our boards in the process. Mmmhmm okay. We joined 2 other boarders in lines and when we got to the chairlift, these two people just stood there while we went ahead and got on the chair, so people from the singles line jumped into line with us. I didn't know this, I assumed that the 2 people were coming on with us, so I almost pushed the singles line guy out, hahaha, woops. Sorry dude.

Chairlift ride goes okay, the skiier on the right side made sure we knew the bar was coming down, okay awesome. However, when we got to the top, she didn't wait for us to take our boards off the feetrest before raising the bar. Bitch.

We get off, head over to the Zoom Room, where the park is located. Park is empty, excellent. In this park, there are some boxes, and a tire feature, then 3 jumps, then more boxes. At the tire feature, some kid was standing there, probably gaping out or something. He looked like he was just standing there waiting for a friend, and I just kept going, past the tire to go to the drop in for the jumps. When I passed the tire, the guy was right next to me, and apparently he yelled, "Fuck you." Nice. Apparently he didn't want anyone to go drop in for the jump and was yeling at people to stop. Well, fuck you too, the world doesn't revolve around you. At least make some effort, like make an X with your arms, don't just stand there, asshole! He wasn't even at the drop in, not even close.

After we rode, we went to the buses to head back to the car. We just walked straight to the bus, and my boyfriend, before we got on the bus, turned and yelled at some woman who worked at Beaver Creek. He said that she kept asking me in a bitchy voice, "WHERE ARE YOU GOING? WHERE ARE YOU GOING? WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Fuck that bitch too! I'm deaf, not blind, I can read the fucking signs on the bus that says where the hell it is going. I've been to Beaver Creek a few times now, I am pretty sure I got the whole bus system figured out, thank you.

This is why being deaf sometimes sucks ass, people get pissed off at me over stupid shit. It's really hard, because I don't wear my implant when I snowboard, so I'm TOTALLY DEAF. AHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHhHHHHh!!!!!!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the bigger park at BC is SICK! Jumps weren't open but the jibs were, oh man they are FUN! Big too!
