I gotta tell you, the Huntington Dog Beach by my house is great! It's a mere two blocks away and my husky loves it there. When we go running in the mornings, I like to reward him by taking him to cool down in the ocean and letting him sniff the plethora of dog butts there.
Technically you're supposed to keep your dog on leash, but a lot of people allow their dogs off leash. Be prepared for lots of dogs having FUN! I keep Fuzz on his leash because I don't wear my cochlear implant running, so I can't hear how loud I need to yell at Fuzz so he can hear me. Regardless, it's still fun for him and he's tired after running anyways :)

Definitely check out the beach if you're in the area with a pooch or two or 34! Make sure to pick up poop and keep an eye on your little critter(s). The Dog Beach is a mile long, starting at Goldenwest/PCH to Seapoint/PCH. They have a website right
