A Day at the LUV!

Yesterday, I decided to go ride Loveland.  I always like riding Loveland in the early season because there's pretty much never a line!  It's endless laps.  Sure, the park isn't as good as Arapahoe Basin's, but at least the landings aren't pure ice, and there's not 200 people packed at the top of the park.  I had heard that Loveland opened with 6 features, but when I got there, it was actually three.  Apparently they had to move some stuff because they recently opened another run.  Regardless, it was still a nice mellow park to have fun in!  The snow was great everywhere, a little icy in some spots but my board is great on ice thanks to the magnetraction.

Yes, that is the Roxy Eminence I am riding... Torah Bright's pipe board!  As you can see, it is NOT as stiff as I expected it to be.  I love this board so much!!

I cannot wait for the rest of the mountains to open... I am so excited.  I leave town November 1-5th, so I will be missing Keystone and Breckenridge's opening days.  I'm also missing the River Run Rail Jam at Keystone :(  If you are planning on attending any of those, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT:  OH GOD, YES, YES, YES.  I was mistaken.  Breckenridge does NOT open Nov 5th, they open Nov 9th!!  I will be there!!!!
