When the surf's good, nobody works!

We had a powder day today!  I went to Breckenridge alone at 9am and started my day riding Peak 9 & 10.  I really didn't know where I was going so I just rode all over, and if I came upon a chairlift, I took it.  I normally just lap Park Lane at Breck (yeah, filthy park rat), so this was a nice change of scenery.
The snow was EXCELLENT!!  I was having so much fun by myself, just slashing around in the trees.  My legs were all loose and I was just pumping around.  It reminded me a lot of the surfing I did this past summer.  I kept thinking to myself, "I'll go home now..." but when I got to the bottom, I was like, "Again, again!"  What can I say; can't stop, won't stop!!  One thing I am stoked about is I was consistently surprising myself today.  It's been a while since I've had a day like that.  It's weird, I don't know how to describe it, but my tree riding surprised me a lot today.... it just felt so natural, like automatic.  Almost instinctive.  I didn't even look ahead and plan where I was going, I was hauling ass and weaving through the trees like it was nothing.

It was such a good day, and despite riding alone, I had a smile on my face all damn day.  I fucking love snowboarding.
