Anyways, back to I-70. Apparently it was closed due to accidents. I use this great website on my phone to check, it's www.cotrip.org. I think they have an app, but it costs money... while the website is free. Yeah, I'll stick to the website, kthx. It's really informative and easy to navigate. I love that it has still cameras, road conditions, and if a road or interstate is closed, it states the reason. It's going to come in handy when I make my few Aspen trips this winter.
I'm a little scared to be driving today, the news have been saying that this is the weekend that the leaves will peak, so there's going to be more people up here driving like shit than usual. The leaves really are gorgeous though, and the snow yesterday made the colors really POP. It's cold today though... It's not going to get much warmer than like 24F. It snowed a little more last night (damn it, I knew I should had put my wipers up), and then it's supposed to warm up into the 50s this week before another storm hits around Thursday.
Word on the street is Arapahoe Basin and Loveland have been making excellent progress and "the season is just around the corner." UGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN I AM EXCITED. I just want to fucking RIDE!
Check out some of these pics!
