An Update!

Boy, I really wish I could snowboard right now.  The weather is absolutely gorgeous and the sun feels amazing at this high altitude.  I have a feeling that the snow is probably soft at the ski resorts.

Well. Christmas was a few days ago.  In the past, I always had someone to spend Christmas with; Cobie actually came out last year and we spent Christmas together.  It was very simple; I made chicken and dumplings (dumplings from scratch... the best kind!) and we relaxed and watched movies.  Cobie had to work this year on the Holidays, so this Christmas was the first time that I would be alone, or so I thought.

Being injured, it was really hard for me.  I got sad as shit and really missed my family.  I felt pretty lonely, and then Dillon invited me to come with him and Sasha to eat dinner with his family.  I accepted, figuring that was better than sitting at home alone and probably finishing off my beer supply.  Boy, am I glad I went.

Dillon's family is very nice and I was so happy that they let me be a part of their family for Christmas.  We ate a yummy dinner (steak with bacon around it!!!) and yummy desserts. Dillon's family made me feel very involved and I had no problem communicating with them which was awesome.  Everyone just made sure I wasn't left out and if I missed something, someone would always fill me in.  Needless to say, I had a great time.

Oh..... gifts??  Yup, I got some!  Sasha got me her favorite brand flip flops from Hawaii and Cobie got me a gorgeous turquoise bracelet... oh man, I love it so much.  It matches my beautiful Navajo coral and silver bracelet my mother got me a while ago which I wear all the time.  He also got me these really cool skull earrings and a turquoise rock.  I cannot wait to rock those skull earrings, I will as soon as I can start wearing normal pants again... sweatpants are a hot fashion item these days for me.

I think I shall spend my New Year in Aspen!
